Product Describtion:
Dichroic reflector material reflects UV light but absorbs IR, normally into a heat sink or reflector housing which has been designed to suit. By absorbing the infra-red radiation dichroic reflectors reduce the temperature to the substrate which is particularly important for heat sensitive materials.
We can supply these for many different systems or we can make to your own specification.
Standard Reflectors
Aluminium reflectors have been used in UV and IR dryers for many years. This type of reflector reflects both UV and IR. In some applications this added heat from infra-red radiation helps the inks to cure.
We can supply for most systems or make to your own specification or drawing.
Almost all UV LED products have reflectors. Because of how they reflect the light emitting from the lamp, reflectors are vital to obtaining and maintaining an efficient and effective UV curing system.
These Eltosch dichroic extruded reflectors are cost effective reflectors that are 100% compatible with those used in standard Eltosch UV Systems. They are guaranteed to fit and work at optimal levels.
When the current reflectors get old and worn this replacement is designed to slide into place with ease.
These reflectors are extruded, shaped to reflect the UV light emission at optimal levels and angles right onto the surface to be cured or exposed.
These reflectors are dichroic. This means that they are coated with a color (hence the purple tint) that filters light of differing wavelengths. The reflectors let heat generating Infrared light pass through, thereby only reflecting the needed UV light. In this way the reflectors:
With all these features the reflectors aid with extending the length of your lamp life.
This particular reflectors is 10.7″ in length (273mm).
