Quartz glass is the special glass of the single silicon dioxide.

Quartz glass is made by melting either naturally occurring crystalline quartz or silica produced synthetically from silicon tetrachloride at the high temperature of 1800°c,The resulting fusion can be formed into rod ,tubing,etc As the usual glass ,quartz glass realize the thernal process to tubes and rods at high temperature.also can be machined with diamond or cilicon abrasive tools at a high speed and cool condition,making different apparatus and special products.

This cold mirror is specially designed to reflect more than 95% average of ultra-violet rays from 350-450 nm and transmit more than 90% average 550 -1200nm at 45 degrees angle of incidence.
